Our Story

Laughing Bear Bakery is a St. Louis non-profit work skills reintegration program for ex-offenders who are working very hard to start a new life.  At Laughing Bear, these men and women receive on-the-job training in a commercial kitchen, learning to create a wide array of delicious treats that we sell across the metropolitan St. Louis area.  

Our kitchen is humming with activity.  There are fried cherry pies, chocolate chip cookies, caramel cinnamon buns, French Silk and Key Lime pies, muffins, granola, gooey butter pies, and our famous deep chocolate triple layer cake.  The list of made-from-scratch goodies goes on and on.  Watch our site for the next sales opportunity in your neighborhood, or if you can't wait, send us an email from the Contact page.
